Kindergarten Care at Loma Vista School in Ventura will provide care for children during the school week, from 11:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. At Rio Del Norte School in Oxnard, the hours will be 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The curriculum for Kindergarten Care will tie in with the Healthy Kids and Character Counts! programs, which introduce children to the YMCA's six pillars of character development: caring, respect, responsibility, honesty, trustworthiness and citizenship.
Registration will start Monday. Registration packets, parent handbooks and schedules will be available at the Ventura Family YMCA and online at http://www.venturaymca.org.
